What we actually do

We run tour packages, hotel stays and taxi services in and around Manali — the Kullu valley, Lahaul through the Atal Tunnel, the Parvati valley towards Kasol, and the seasonal Spiti circuit over Kunzum La. The hotel is ours. The drivers are people we know. The coordinator who meets your bus lives twenty minutes away.

That matters on precisely the days when a trip goes wrong: heavy snowfall closing the tunnel, a Rohtang quota that filled before you booked, a hotel that oversold its rooms in the last week of December. Those days are when the difference between a local operator and a reseller stops being marketing language.

Why the price is what it is

We buy the hotel nights, the vehicles and the activity slots directly, which is why our published rates sit where they do rather than carrying two layers of commission. What we do not do is quote a number that is impossible and then find the difference by downgrading your hotel after you have paid.

Every quote we send is a written itinerary with the inclusions and exclusions spelled out before any money moves. If a package on this site says indicative price, it means exactly that, and we will confirm the current rate for your dates.

Who we look after

A large share of our travellers come from Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai — people who have to fly to Delhi or Chandigarh first and who are, more often than not, seeing snow for the first time. The business is run by a Telugu-speaking operator who moved to Manali, which means South Indian groups get a point of contact in their own language for the whole trip.

The rest come from Delhi NCR, Punjab, Gujarat and Maharashtra, mostly on weekend and long-weekend departures.

The honest bits

We will tell you when your dates are wrong for snow. We will tell you when Rohtang is shut and the trip being sold to you as a Rohtang trip is actually a trip to Gulaba. We will tell you when a six-hour day trip to Kasol is a bad idea with a four-year-old. None of that costs you anything and it is the reason most of our bookings come from people who were sent here by someone else.
