The thing nobody tells you
On the same January morning, Manali town can be wet and grey while Sissu — ninety minutes away through the Atal Tunnel — is under fresh powder. Booking a date does not book you snow. Booking the right altitude does.
This is the single most common reason a Manali trip disappoints, and it is entirely avoidable. Before you pick dates, tell us what you want to see and we will tell you where the snow line is that week.
The snow line, by altitude
Bars show how reliably each altitude holds snow across a full winter. Months shaded below are when the upper rungs are dependable.
Where you're coming from
The package price is the same. What changes is how you get to the departure point, what it costs, and how many days you need.

Who you're travelling with
A friend group and a family with grandparents should not be sold the same itinerary. These are built separately.
Private room, private cab, no group timetable. Couple packages are built so that the only schedule you keep is the one you feel like keeping.

Fixed departures you can join as a group of three, or a private vehicle and your own timings once you are eight or more.
