The hot springs sit inside a stone temple complex dedicated to sage Vashisht, with separate bathing tanks for men and women fed by water that comes out of the ground hot year round. In winter, sitting in that water while it snows outside is the kind of thing people remember longer than any ropeway.
From the top of the village a marked path climbs about 3 km through orchards and pine to Jogini Falls, a multi-stage waterfall with a shrine at the base. It is a genuine walk rather than a viewpoint — an hour up, less coming down.

Local notes
- Carry a change of clothes and a towel — the springs have no facilities to speak of.
- The Jogini trail is easy but rocky at the top. Trainers are fine, sandals are not.
- Do the walk in the morning and the springs afterwards, not the other way round.
- The road up to Vashisht is narrow and one-way in stretches; buses cannot make it.
